Jeannie Mai, the ex-wife of rapper Jeezy, contacted police following a contentious incident at Jeezy’s Atlanta home involving her court-mandated right to collect her belongings. According to reports, the former couple’s relationship continues to unravel, with accusations of court order violations, damaged property, and mistrust dominating their interactions.
The dispute began when Mai arrived at Jeezy’s property last month to retrieve her items, which had been stored in the garage. Despite notifying Jeezy about her visit, she was denied access by his house manager. Mai alleges that Jeezy and his team created additional barriers, including requiring a nondisclosure agreement for anyone entering the home—something not stipulated in the court order.
The police were called to document the situation, with officers reportedly confirming that the court order was being violated. Mai’s legal team emphasized that her actions were professional and intended to enforce her rights, not cause a scene.
Adding to the tension, Mai claims her possessions were mishandled, with water damage, chewed boxes, and broken awards among the damages she discovered. She described the conditions of the storage as unacceptable, alleging that her personal items had been neglected.
The former couple finalized their divorce last summer, but their ongoing disputes suggest unresolved bitterness. Allegations of domestic abuse and custody battles over their daughter have further complicated their post-divorce relationship.
