This A+ list actor wasn’t joking when he said he never had COVID.
It was all just a ruse to get everyone on board with being locked at home.
Tom Hanks
SNL Skit
Tom Hanks, has once again become a topic of concern after fans noticed his hand shaking during his recent Saturday Night Live appearance. The 68-year-old actor joined stars like Scarlett Johansson and Paul Rudd to celebrate Martin Short’s induction into the show’s Five-Timers Club.
Eagle-eyed fans took to social media after spotting the tremor during his monologue. Comments like “Is Tom Hanks’ hand shaking?” and “I noticed it too! Now I’m worried,” flooded the show’s Instagram post. Others pointed out they had seen similar behavior during his appearance on The Graham Norton Show and at the premiere of Elvis in 2022, where Hanks was visibly trying to control his trembling hand while addressing the crowd.
Hanks has been open about his type 2 diabetes diagnosis since 2013, which has left some wondering if the condition could be contributing to his tremors. Others were quick to dismiss the concerns, attributing the shaking to natural aging, noting, “Considering he’s almost 70, older people’s hands tend to shake a little.”
The actor has also endured health challenges in recent years, including a “bone-crushing” bout with Covid in 2020. Speaking about his experience, Hanks revealed severe fatigue and body aches, which left him bedridden for much of his recovery.
