Speaking of one named singers, this permanent A list singer knew she wasn’t going to be nominated in the awards that were announced today.
It is the same reason her album was never played on any radio stations that have that music format.
They think it was a publicity stunt and not “true” to the format whatever that means.

CMA Awards
Despite Beyoncé’s massive success with her country hit “Texas Hold ‘Em” from her album Cowboy Carter, she received no nominations at this year’s Country Music Association (CMA) Awards.
Neither the song nor the album were recognized in major categories like Song of the Year, Album of the Year, or Entertainer of the Year.
This follows her controversial 2016 CMA performance with The Chicks, which sparked backlash from country music fans who questioned her place in the genre.
Beyoncé hinted that the cold reception she received back then inspired Cowboy Carter. Although the album charted as country, she clarified it was a “Beyoncé” album, with critics praising its genre-blending style.
Notably, Shaboozey, featured on the album, received nominations and acknowledged Beyoncé’s groundbreaking contributions to country music.
