This west coast Housewife thought she was going to have a chain of stores across the country.

She couldn’t even get one to stay open and had to close it after just a year or so of being open.

No one wants what she is selling.

There is nothing wrong with switching to an online store. Products are neat, looks comfy, not a niche store, there area jumpsuits, bed sheets, hats and hoodies and all. More like her fav things. Fans of Sutton Stracke were left puzzled when her West Hollywood boutique announced a temporary closure in August 2024. Speculation only intensified after a “for lease” sign appeared in the store’s window. However, Sutton dispelled the rumors with her signature charm and candor during an appearance on Jeff Lewis Live.

Sutton laughed off the sign, joking, “I got kicked out for not paying rent,” before revealing her next big move. She explained, “I’ve expanded and don’t need my storefront anymore. All of my inventory is being shipped to Houston.” Moving forward, her boutique will shift to an appointment-only model, showcasing clothing samples in a backroom setup.

Beyond her boutique, Sutton is also collaborating with Cynthia Bailey on a groundbreaking sustainable home collection through Sutton Brands. Their mission? To tackle the staggering amount of returned online products that end up in landfills — about 70%, Sutton shared. Cynthia’s collection, which started with bedding and other home goods, aims to revolutionize recycling in the fashion industry.

Sutton’s vision for sustainable solutions in fashion and home goods continues to grow, with plans to expand the line and spread eco-friendly practices. “We’re trying to be part of the solution, not the problem,” she stated passionately.
