The feud between Eminem and Mariah Carey is one of the most infamous and long-running rivalries in pop culture, starting back in the early 2000s. The conflict reportedly began when Eminem claimed that he and Mariah had a romantic relationship, a claim she has consistently denied.

In 2002, Eminem released tracks like “Superman” and “When the Music Stops,” which included suggestive lyrics implying a past relationship with Carey. Mariah responded with her song “Clown,” where she strongly refuted any romantic involvement, stating they “never even touched each other.” This back-and-forth set the tone for the feud, which only escalated over the years.

The tension reached new heights in 2009 when Mariah released her hit single “Obsessed,” which many interpreted as a direct jab at Eminem. The music video even featured Carey dressed up in a hoodie and goatee, resembling Eminem’s signature look. In response, Eminem dropped a diss track titled “The Warning,” where he threatened to release intimate voicemails and other details about their alleged relationship.
