Rumbling among some of the biggest celebrities

There is a rumbling among some of the biggest celebrities and biggest donors in the celebrity cult that the leader should be removed so they can keep their tax exempt status and to stay viable.

Scientology

David Miscavige

Scientology is bracing for its most substantial protest in years as David Miscavige prepares to attend the International Association of Scientologists’ event in the UK, scheduled for November 3-5.

The protest is gaining momentum as critics, who claim Scientology separates members from their families and engages in intimidation tactics against those attempting to leave, plan to make a powerful statement.

Alexander Barnes-Ross, an ex-Scientologist who rose to the position of director of public book sales in London before expulsion, is orchestrating the demonstration. He emphasizes that the goal is to put an end to the alleged abuses within the organization.

Scientology’s response characterizes the protesters as a small group of bigots seeking media attention, with accusations that Barnes-Ross was expelled from the Church over a decade ago and is now promoting a hate group online.

David Miscavige, Scientology’s leader, is expected to arrive in the UK soon, often using Tom Cruise’s private jet for travel. Currently facing legal challenges, including human trafficking allegations and evasion of process servers in five lawsuits, Miscavige denies all accusations against him.

Leah Remini, a former Scientologist turned vocal critic, filed a lawsuit against the organization and Miscavige in August, alleging psychological torture, defamation, surveillance, harassment, and intimidation. Scientology responds by accusing Remini of spreading falsehoods and profiting from her criticisms through various media channels.

The complex legal landscape surrounding Scientology includes previous lawsuits filed by former workers, such as Valeska Paris, Gawain, and Laura Baxter, who allege trafficking into Scientology as children and enduring abusive conditions.

Notably, a Florida judge ruled that the trafficking allegation against Miscavige should be resolved through an arbitration panel of church members, as per prior agreements.

The ongoing tension between Scientology and its critics continues to unfold, with legal battles and public allegations making headlines.
