Nothing is ever as it seems.
The video showing the controversial host/denier drinking his way to oblivion is real, but is it to use alcoholism as an excuse for his behavior or is a trick to go to rehab and delay things by several months?
Nothing is ever as it seems.
Alex Jones
Before the public caught wind of Alex Jones’ drunken driving arrest early Tuesday, the controversial conspiracy theorist went live on his InfoWars radio and internet show and professed his innocence.
Jones, who left Travis County Jail after posting bail, was incredulous that he was charged with driving while intoxicated — even though his blood alcohol content was below the legal limit for driving.
So was there a conspiracy waged against the conspiracy theorist? Unlikely.
Area law enforcement agencies for years have charged people with drunken driving even when tests come back below the 0.08 blood alcohol content threshold that Texas uses to define intoxication.
Records provided to the American-Statesman on Wednesday by the county attorney’s office show that Jones’ DWI case was among 42 this year in which the suspect provided a breath or blood reading within the legal limit. There were 254 such cases in 2019, 344 in 2018 and 221 in 2017. – Source
