Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have filmed a sit-down interview with Jane Pauley for “CBS Sunday Morning,” discussing their new project, “The Parents Network,” in collaboration with their Archewell Foundation. This organization supports parents whose children have been affected by online harm. This marks their first joint interview since their revealing Oprah Winfrey interview in March 2021.
In the interview, Markle speaks about their young children, highlighting the couple’s desire to protect them from online dangers. Harry emphasizes the importance of parents being aware and acting as “first responders” to online threats.
Additionally, it was announced that the Sussexes will visit Colombia at the invitation of Vice President Francia Márquez. They will visit several regions and participate in activities related to online safety, ahead of the Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children in November.
This trip follows their controversial visit to Nigeria in May, which reportedly angered King Charles and Prince William, as it resembled an official royal visit despite the Sussexes stepping down from royal duties in 2020. Royal expert Tom Quinn noted that this trip confirmed fears within the royal family and heightened tensions.
