The alliterate one couldn’t find a sponsor for her podcast which is why she is delaying it.

No one wants to associate their brand with her.

Meghan Markle’s podcast dreams are still on hold

After signing a deal with Lemonada Media in early 2024, the Duchess of Sussex was expected to debut a new series following the abrupt end of her $20 million Spotify contract. However, the podcast has yet to materialize, with reports indicating that Lemonada has struggled to get the project off the ground.

Complicating matters, the launch was further delayed due to the LA wildfires, mirroring setbacks with her Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan. While details about the podcast remain under wraps, Lemonada will now distribute her old Archetypes series across multiple platforms.

But Markle’s challenges extend beyond production delays. Allegations of a toxic work environment have resurfaced, with former Spotify colleagues accusing her of being difficult to work with.

One source described the experience as “really, really, really awful” and claimed Markle was highly strategic about how she treated people, comparing her behavior to high school clique dynamics.

Her other business ventures haven’t fared much better.

American Riviera Orchard, her luxury lifestyle brand, remains in limbo nearly a year after its announcement.

Legal troubles have stalled progress, with rival brand Harry & David challenging her trademark over its similarity to their Royal Riviera line.

Additionally, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office rejected her initial application due to restrictions on trademarking geographic locations.
