Speaking of the alliterate one, a very recent former employee has spoken to two attorneys, each of whom offer employment litigation as part of their services.
Meghan Markle
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have faced significant staff turnover, losing 18 key workers since mid-2018, including nine since their move to Montecito, California, in 2020. This pattern began during their time as senior working royals, where their Kensington Palace staff humorously dubbed themselves the “Sussex Survivor’s Club” due to the reportedly challenging working conditions under Meghan.
High-profile departures included personal assistants, private secretaries, and senior communications staff, many citing difficulties in managing the couple’s demands. Allegations of Meghan bullying Buckingham Palace staff led to an external investigation, though the findings were never released.
The staff exodus continued in California, with the departure of talent agent Nick Collins, communications chief Toya Holness, and Archewell executives. Royal historian Hugo Vickers suggested that the high turnover reflects difficulties in working for the couple, pointing to potential personality clashes.
Most recently, their chief of staff, Josh Kettler, resigned just three months before their planned “faux royal tour” to Colombia.
