As I told you last week, there was no way the translator did anything on her own.

It was all the author’s idea.

With all the bridges burned, watch for him to turn his sights on his former protectors.

The Dutch translator of Omid Scobie’s “Endgame” defended herself against accusations, asserting that the names of royals questioning Prince Archie’s skin color were present in the manuscript she received.

The translated version, which led to the removal of the book in the Netherlands, revealed the identities of the royals.

The publisher attributed it to a “translation error,” but translator Saskia Peeters denied adding the names independently, contradicting the omission in the English version.

“As a translator, I translate what is in front of me. The names of the royals were there in black and white. I did not add them. I just did what I was paid to do and that was translate the book from English into Dutch.”

Following an interview on ITV’s This Morning, Scobie maintained that he did not include the names of the royals in Endgame.
